For the treatment of low-alloyed tool steels we use special vacuum processes that combine low-temperature cooling treatment and tempering in one process. Cool Plus technology combines a tempering furnace with integrated low-temperature cooling to prevent the treated components from the danger of oxidation and corrosion. Low-temperature cooling prevents creeping dimensional changes after the treatment. This enables treatment of complex tools of low-alloyed tool steels with maximum requirements for dimensional stability and corrosion resistance in a reliable, low-distortion vacuum process.
