As a member of the HEF Groupe, TS H+K uses the treatment methods developed and patented by the parent company under the product names ARCOR® and TENIFER®.


Both nitriding processes stand for highest productivity and constant quality, which are carried out in the environmentally friendly CLIN process (Controlled Liquid Ionic Nitriding) in high-purity salt melts.

The ARCOR® and TENIFER® processes used by TS H+K are applied to increase wear resistance, corrosion resistance and fatigue strength and stand out from the product portfolio with their high-quality black coloration. Compared to galvanic or chemical surface coating processes, nitriding in the molten salt bath often offers much higher corrosion protection and hardness.

The technologies used by TS H+K form a nitrocarburizing layer with a very high nitride content This property gives the treated components exceptionally high protection against wear and corrosion. Another reason why many of our customers in the automotive industry and drive technology sector insist on this technology are the improved running and anti-frictional properties.

Salt bath nitrocarburizing with subsequent blasting and post-oxidation is regarded as an absolute premium process. This treatment sequence not only impresses with its optical advantages, it is also used for special roughness, hardness, corrosion and wear requirements.
